Our qualified School Nurse provides health care for the children and staff of Holborn Academy. She advances the well-being of our children and thus supports learning. We have a fully equipped Care Room, where children and staff are monitored and illness managed. Our School Nurse provides a preventive service, through the early identification of problems, necessary interventions and referrals, in order to support good health.
Children’s diagnostic tests are carried out at the beginning of each new term. In addition, weekly staff diagnostics enable us to care for our team. Happy, healthy staff, inspire happy, successful children. We also provide information about topical health issues through monthly newsletters and workshops.
In emergencies, children will be transported with a member of staff to our health care providers, after informing and conferring with their Parents.
